MobiliseSME’s Extension Motivated by Companies Feedback
Friday, February 3rd, 2017
Following feedback received as well as being motivated by the steadily growing number of companies registering on the MobiliseSME platform, we have decided to extend the testing period until the end of June 2017. This should give all companies more opportunities to find their exchange partner, fully matching their needs and expectations. Moreover, according to a phone survey which we have conducted in December 2016, the tight testing period seemed as one of the key obstacles for companies when trying to arrange an exchange.
The phone survey provided good insight into the needs and expectations of companies registered on the platform, whose main motivation is often to expand their business abroad and/or get their employee trained for a particular expertise. This is fully in line with the project objective as formulated and promoted through various communication channels by the MobiliseSME project team and their partners.
Equally interesting was the feedback received on the conditions of the exchange: besides calling for a longer testing period that would enable all participants to have enough time to finalise their exchanges, most companies would also welcome an increase in contributions for exchanges of two weeks and of one month. Both suggestions were taken on board and implemented in the scheme. Most companies also agreed that it would be helpful to receive suggestions of suitable matches. As of January 2017, we send a weekly digest to all registrants highlighting the top four potential exchange partners matching the indicated preferences from their posts.
We hope that the new elements of the pilot scheme will motivate even more companies to explore this great opportunity. If you feel like one of them, do not hesitate and register on the MobiliseSME Matchmaking Platform and embark on a new experience.
