Confédération Européenne Desassociations De Petites et Moyennes Entreprises

European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME is a Brussels-based business federation which currently counts 14 European associations of small and medium enterprises (SME) among its members. CEA-PME represents the interests of its members towards the institutions of the European Union and offers services in the field of public procurement and public relations.
The confederate associates of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME represent in total approx. 630.000 SMEs and around 14.6 million of employees in Europe and Turkey, in practically all economic sectors, excl. agriculture.


Bundesverband Mittelständische Wirtschaft, Unternehmerverband Deutschlands E.V.

The BVMW is a politically independent association which caters for all commercial branches and professions, and represents the interests of small and medium-sized businesses in politics, with administrative authorities, with trade unions and with major companies.
It counts over 50.000 associated SMEs, and – as leader of the “German Alliance of SME confederations” – it represents over 280.000 German enterprises and 9 million employees and workers.


Confederazione Italiana Della Piccola E Media Industria

The activity of the Italian Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Industries aims at protecting and promoting the concrete interests of small and medium-sized industries at all levels. CONFAPI contributes to the development of the Italian industry, supporting its associated enterprises in facing the challenge of the modern global economy, in order to get an advantage from their dimensions as an added value for competitiveness.

Nowadays, CONFAPI represents more than 94.000 enterprises, with more than 900.000 employees and also collaborates with universities and research centres. Over 170.000 Italian enterprises in the industrial sector apply CONFAPI’s national work contract, negotiated with sectorial trade unions.

Association Francaise des Dirigeants d’Entreprise en Europe

AFDEE was created in 1998 as a non-political independent association. The members are entrepreneurs concerned about the development of their business and eager to co-operate with each other, with the strong belief in a better future for Europe.
AFDEE’s main fields of activity are the following: assistance to members in all areas of corporate life, search for partners in France and in the EU for cooperation of all types and especially for innovation, as well as regular meetings on topics of common interest for the members.

Pályázatírók és Tanácsadók Országos Szövetsége

PÁTOSZ is a professional business organisation, an NGO, founded in 2004. Its objective is to help SMEs and other legal entities prepare development projects and get better access to finance, be it grants or loans. (“PÁTOSZ” stands for National Association of Grant Project Managers and Consultants.)
Its activities include organisation of conferences and workshops. PÁTOSZ also prepares 3-4 studies per year on challenges of the Hungarian grant system, being proactive in proposing system improvements to the authorities.


Asociacion De Empresarios De Gipuzkoa

ADEGI is the Business Association of Gipuzkoa, a private association which represents the group companies in Gipuzkoa. It is made up of around 1.100 private companies which are voluntary members and which belong to every economic sector in the region, incorporating over 48.000 people in Gipuzkoa.
ADEGI works to create favourable conditions for competitiveness and business development. Among its services, it offers information and advice to businesses and entrepreneurs in areas such as industrial relations and personnel management, collective bargaining, innovation, competitiveness and the environment, prevention and occupational health and quality.


Müstakil Sanayici ve İşadamları Derneği

The “Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association” (MÜSİAD) has been founded on May 5th , 1990, in Istanbul, Turkey, by concerned businessmen dedicated to the realization of a Turkey where human rights and the rule of law, justice and equality, peace and security, the welfare and happiness of the people are guaranteed.
MÜSİAD is an active and strong “Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)” that provides “Platform for Development-Dialogue, Cooperation and Solidarity” created for the purpose of contributing to the social, cultural, political, economic, scientific and technological development of individuals, companies and institutions, the Turkish society, andits region and the world.
MÜSIAD represents more than 50.000 Turkish-lead companies in Turkey, in the EU and all over the world.


Societè Belgo-Allemande
The Belgian-German Society (non-profit association) was established in 1960 as a private initiative by Belgians and Germans in Brussels. It has set itself the task, in the context of an ever closer European cooperation, to promote good neighbourhood relationships between the Kingdom of Belgium and the Federal Republic of Germany.
It seeks to exchange opinions and ideas in many fields, in order to establish a mutual understanding among the people of both countries. The Belgian-German Society regularly organizes events in order to allow companies from both countries to exchange views with prominent speakers from the economic world to facilitate business cooperation.


Eesti Väike- ja Keskmiste Ettevõtjate Assotsiatsioon

The Estonian Association of SME’s (EVEA) is a non-governmental organisation gathering small and medium-sized enterprises from all over Estonia. EVEA’s main objectives are promotion of entrepreneurship in Estonian society, education of SME’s with variety of training programs in fields of management, personnel administration, sales promotion as well as helping SME’s in finding international business opportunities.
EVEA also is the main body representing SME interests in governmental institutions.


Asociația Patronatul Tinerilor Întreprinzători din România / Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania

The Young Entrepreneurs Association from Romania has 8 regional structures and 4 local offices and over 2500 members, SMEs owners – young people aged between 18 and 40 years. YEAR is a national NGO, operating at European level through its Board of Directors.
YEAR’s main objectives and actions are established by the Board of Directors whose members are appointed every four years.


European Forum of Independent Professionals

Founded in 2010, the European Forum of Independent Professionals (EFIP) is composed by a European not-for-profit collaboration of national associations which represent over 11 million of independent professionals at EU level through targeted research, advocacy and campaigning.
EFIP mission is to strive for European policy, business and social environment to become more conducive to the independent and self-employed way of working, in both the private and public sectors.


European Small Business Alliance

The European Small Business Alliance is a non-party political group, which cares for small business entrepreneurs and the self-employed and represents them through targeted EU advocacy and profiling activities.
Today, ESBA is one of the largest organisations based on voluntary membership in Europe. Through its direct membership, associate membership and cooperation agreements, the Alliance now represents almost one million small businesses and covers 35 European countries.



Europe Office of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung

The FES is the oldest political foundation in Germany. It is named after Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected social-democratic President. As party-affiliated foundation, it bases its work on the fundamental values of social democracy: freedom, justice and solidarity. As a non-profit institution, it operates independently and wants to promote the pluralistic society dialogue on the policy challenges of the present.
The central task of the FES is political education and counselling. It imparts basic knowledge about policies and allows access to current debates. As an international think tank, it offers impetus for a policy of social democracy – not only in Germany but worldwide.
